WEEKEND NEWS
MINDARIE DIVE (the original and still the best) has just had a fantastic weekend of diving. We certified 34 students this weekend, all our courses continue to be full as everybody just wants to get in the water. We also had a group go down south to dive on The Swan Wreck, followed by a night dive on the Jetty. It was a huge sucess and everyone had a fab time. Pics to follow.
Our scheduled dive to the Gemini on Sunday was fully booked 10 days prior, with people still phoning to be put on the standby list on Saturday afternoon. Our custom built dive boat was first to arrive at the wreck on the Sunday. As the divers descended through big schools of Sambo’s and Pink Snapper the wreck opened up below us, with viz 15m plus. With only a 20min bottom time the dive was sadly soon over. The divers were back on the boat for morning tea when other dive boats arrived. Our sincere appoligies if we scared the fish off!
Then to top the morning off the second dive was at the “Appartments” which is an absolute MECCA for fish life, heaps of caves, swim throughs and ledges. This is a new dive site for Perth divers and only available with Sea Quest and Mindarie Dive.
